Color & Design is a fine arts course that introduces high school students to the visual arts. High school students in grades 9-12 that are interested in exploring and experimenting with the visual arts should consider registering for this course.
COLOR & DESIGN (Grades 9-12) 711 YEAR – 1 CREDIT
This course is designed to expand your knowledge of the elements of art (line, shape, form, texture, space and pattern) so that you can apply this knowledge to advanced creative projects. All projects are done two dimensionally and could include: watercolor, acrylics, charcoal, pen and ink, printmaking, Adobe Photoshop, etc. This course also includes critique, discussion, and importance of historical and contemporary artists.
PREREQUISITE: C or better final grade in your last Art class
