The fifth project that the students in Art 7 completed was three-dimensional sculptures. They created the designs out of cardboard, newspaper, and cups as a support structure. The students layered many strips of newspaper to create a sturdy piece of artwork. When the base of the letter was complete, they added their own decorations to personalize their artwork.
The students in Art 7 recently completed abstract paintings using watercolor paint. They experimented with many different techniques to design interesting patterns. Using pens, the students outlined chosen areas of the painting to create definition and focal points.

The students in Art 7 were challenged to create an original comic that illustrated an issue a seventh grader might encounter. The comics could be funny or serious. The variety of characters, settings, and dialogue the students developed to tell their stories is fantastic!
